Tripod MP3 player turns into OLED movie player

Conceived by designer Lisa Kohanski, the “Tripod” is a functional MP3 player that comes integrated with an OLED display to become a movie player. All the users needs to do to transform the Tripod from a music player to a movie player is turn the MP3 player upside down and pull the two halves apart while holding the release button.



The hinge unfolds and locks after you loosen the OLED screen, to steady the unit. You may remove the MP3 control, which can be used as a remote to control the movie player without leaving your seat. The triangular device also supports surround sound with built-in speakers located at the top.
