Minimo watch design features aluminum body in a variety of brushed anodized finishes. The empty space in the center of this watch offers technical challenges to make this timepiece very special. It looks like a traditional analog timepiece, but this is the modern minimalist alternative. You can read LED display system that behaves the same way as traditional analog watch.

It needs you to press a button to make Minimo watch turns the LEDs on; it helps to assist in battery conservation. The wristband has been designed with a hidden magnetic clasp to create a hardwareless connection to watch face, thus making people to focus on the watch and its time telling exclusively.
TokyoFlash LED watches are known for their unique LED patterns on their faces and the little confusion of telling time. Fresh in their design is the Raitosho Watch which is another LED watch that uses some cool light beams to tell time.

The Raitosho Watch shoots light beams across its watch face using tiny, focused LED beams. The light beams are actually projected on a dark, non-glossy watch surface, thus making the watch’s display viewable both in daylight and nighttime conditions.

The display is also able to show a “light performance”. The time is shown by having numbers bounced around the front of watch, forming individual numbers of the hours and minutes on a virtual 8-segment display. Multiple colors are possibly shown by the watch as well. Anyway, this is just a design at the moment. A clip is included below showing how it performs cool disco light shows on its watch face.

Watch is one creation that not only tells us about the running time, but also decorates our wrist. Available in various shapes and materials, they always manage to capture attention. Laszlo, a designer from Hungary, has crafted one named LED Bars Lady Concept Watch.

The design consists of a semi-translucent plastic, which has been fitted with LED’s. Shaped like bracelet, it will be made available in two colors: black and white. A chrome strip decorates the sides, while the setting button has been nicely concealed on the rear cover of this concept watch. Red LED’s flash on the black wristwatch whereas the white one has them in the shade of blue.

Now, how do we read time on this timepiece? It’s very easy once you learn that the LEDs, flashing in stripes, on the left side represent the hours, and the ones on the right are minutes. LED Bars Lady Concept Watch looks like a dainty embellishment, which has been given a clean facade. Adding to its exquisiteness is the fact that LEDs will only be seen when active.

It’s often difficult for the blind to be dependent on others to carry out their day-to-day jobs. Not only they find it a tedious task but the dependency causes them humiliation as well. Lee Jung Hoon from Seoul, South Korea has devised a way to provide relief to such people with a watch concept, named Rub.Feel.Know.

He has made a beautiful attempt to make such people self reliant with this eye-catching design. As the name indirectly mentions, the project is a watch for the visually impaired. Although, there may not be any physical hour or minute hands on the facade, the concept has been based solely on sensations and body temperature.

The hour circle will usually be warmer and the minute circle relatively cooler than its counterpart. The visually challenged people can touch and feel the time, while the different shapes of the hour and minute circles will aid them in this endeavor.

Rub.Feel.Know is a beautiful and thoughtful concept. It has been especially devised for the visually challenged, which will lead them to become more self reliant and confident in their everyday life. The designer brainstormed and created this fantastic product, which will prove to be a boon for the blind.

Watch case is made of titanium and sapphire glass – they are strong enough and can work under water, at a depth of up to 30 meters. There is also charge indicator on the side of the watch body. It features applications to view photos, its own calendar, but it has no media player. Maybe Slyde decided not to duplicate functions that everybody has on their cell phones or iPods.
Acetate is the high-gloss material used to make glasses and other wearables. Tokyoflash has taken the material to interesting new heights with the Kisai RPM, releasing multiple versions of their “handmade” watch for $159. This watch is powered by a rechargeable batter so you’ll have to plug it in occasionally. Time telling is achieved by noting the large pips that signify hours, the smaller pips that show 5 minute intervals and then the smallest pips that show 1-4. If that’s hard to understand, this watch is probably not for you.

The latest concept wristwatch to draw my attention is the concept 3D Unlimited timepiece. The unique timepiece uses OEL panel to display the time. The 3D effect is created by a lenticular lens above the interface that creates the illusion of depth. Time is displayed by simple digits on the 3D cube below the lens. But the best part is that the wearer is not required to wear 3D glasses to view the time from this unique watch!
‘Vue’ is a brilliant timepiece designed by Yves Behar / Fuse Project with Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake. The idea of this stunning watch is to have the wearer experience the mystery of time, hour by hour. It shows us the appearance and disappearance of time, by only showing the current hour, while the last hour and future hour subtly fade in and out, through the rotation of an inner circle. I’m absolutely mesmerized by the simple yet fantastic watch. The white design is really classy.
