Ting Feng from China has come with a unique design to generate musical notes in water. The design constitutes of two parts, a blast-off machine base and a player. The device uses the kinetic energy of water to generate electricity to power a specially made battery and hence drive the player to play your favorite music. The player is designed to stay afloat throughout its operation. Water is powerful and sensitive enough to damage any electronic device. If this design works out, we need not fear water when enjoying the music through a portable player. Now, that‘s creativity coming out of a relaxed mind.

Next time, you are in one of the swimming pools, you have to just place several of these players all around the pool. You would surely relish the fun of floating in a musical world.

The Canadian luxury mobile phone maker Mobiado recently announced its collaboration with the Aston Martin. Now, Mobiado has released some details of the CPT002 concept phone, which is a product of Mobiado-Aston Martin collaboration. The Canadian firm announced that the one-of-a-kind device will be launched at the BaselWorld. The device is set to find many takers because it will act not only as a phone, you can also control your Aston Martin using the CPT002 concept phone. The device will help you control the vehicle remotely.

The touchscreen of the device is very attractive and its see-through. The battery is on the side which is platinum crafted. SIM card is also on the side and this has been designed so in order to keep the display totally transparent. Aston Martin vehicle owners need not to carry keys for their vehicles anymore as the CPT002 itself functions as a key. The doors of the car will open automatically as the driver approaches towards the vehicle. Not only this, you can also access the display of Aston Martin, while keeping the phone in your pocket.

The phone will attract those who are highly interested in social networking. In fact, at first look, this look absolutely nothing like a system. It looks more like a lamp post – thin, sleek and a stand out from the crowd. With a laser projector that makes a keyboard in thin air and a VGA display projector, the New Soul can build a PC up, anywhere in an instant.

Then there is the integrated web camera and the roll over knob that allows you to put your PC in “hibernate” mode at an instant and hence saving loads of power. Apart from the power saved in usage, there is also plenty that is saved during production thanks to the millions keyboards, monitors and other parts you need not make (Yup, industry will not be too pleased with this).

Second Life Mobile Phone Concept

The Second Life Mobile Phone Concept works on the premise that we often forget about the battery life of our mobile phones, hence run out of juice, just at the wrong time. As a remedy (rather power-saver-option) the phone incorporates a double display. When in active use the AMOLED screen powers up in all glory and in standby mode the E-ink display gets active. This essentially means that the E-ink uses very little energy and the degree of transparency of the display shows how much battery is remaining. The more transparent the display, the less battery remaining.

So besides ultra-low power consumption, the transparent screen offers an intuitive expression: “You’re low on juice so better recharge the phone soon!” Apparently the E-ink uses power to change the degree of transparency and doesn’t add to the battery load.

A few years down the line seeing time will get even simpler. Making an effort to turn your eyes toward your wrist would no longer be mandatory, if the Buzz Watch concept becomes realistic. Designed by Tamas, Buzz Watch design changes the way to make out time. The basic elements like clock hands, LED signals and micro speakers are simply replaced with a Double micro vibrator that is a similar technology used in mobile phones. One vibrator is placed on the wrist top for informing hour and month, and other on the underside of the wrist to keep you acquainted with minutes and days.

Buzz informs the time using a series of vibration impulses. The signal that comes from the upper case means “1″ and that comes from the lower case means “10″ depending if you opted for time or date. E.g. 1 lower signal, 2 upper signal, intermission, 2 lower signal, 8 upper signal = 12:28 or 28th Dec. Buzz is an avant-garde that lets you sense time without even looking at your watch. Pretty impressive!

There is a wide assortment of time pieces when it comes to opting for a wrist watch. Market shelves are flooded with ample of wrist watches from the most luxurious ones to the very typical types. However, designers do not stop to show their expertise with the new innovation each day. Taking out a leaf from the trend, here is yet another watch concept by Sam credited as “Jo Ge”. The time piece with three vertical rounded bars, move up or down to display time.

The time depends on the position of the bars, where first bar shows the hours, the second bar shows 10 minute group and the third bar shows single minutes. The case is made of matte plastic that blends into the straps as well, and the strap locking mechanism comprises two plugs that are pressed through two holes. The markings are pretty simple to make out the time and these sleekly designed watches come in range of colors.

The futuristic device by Sony called Nextep computer and designed by Hiromi Kirik (Japan) is equipped with a flexible touch-screen based on organic light-emitting diodes. It has a holographic projector and retractable touch-sensitive keyboard. It is assumed that Sony Nextep Computer will focus on communication in social networks.

This computer is supposed to be in the market till the year 2020. The main reason for this – the active development of the technology of flexible OLED-displays, and holographic projections. This concept aims at not only small, handy and great technology at our disposal, but also aesthetically superlative, because it can be worn as a bracelet that changes color depending on clothes changed daily.
