In this fast-moving era where people barely get time to organize or settle down their personal affairs, no matter how important they are, thinking of entertainment or recreational aspects is virtually a crime. Designed by Kingyo, a UI designer from ChengDu, China, the “Mercator” is a life support equipment that makes use of holographic imaging and nano-technology to help people manage their day-to-day needs with minimum fuss. You can use the hi-tech device to manage your regular tasks, like health checkups, appointments, shopping, maps, navigation and more. Combining the nano-materials with the new AMD processor chip, the device comes in the form of a bracelet, made of nickel-metal hydride, and integrates rechargeable batteries. The Mercator not only changes color, but also presents a curvy design for the ease of use, while enhancing the personality of the user.

Yuxa – Wearable Mobile Phone Made From Eco-Friendly Materials

Conceived by Mexican designer Veronica Eugenia Rodriguez Ortiz, the “Yuxa” is a cellphone concept that you can wear around your wrist like a watch or a bracelet. Removing the sound with vibration, the wearable cellphone works with Bluetooth technology, which the user need to remove from the wrist to make a call. Made from ecological materials such as plant fibers and biodegradable plastic, the green gadget features an OLED display and rechargeable battery that flattens its shape with the wrist movement of the user. You can set vibrations at different frequencies for different users. In short, the Yuxa allows an altogether new way of communication.

Introducing the new generation of tea infusers, Mexican designer Emma Moreno has come up with an innovative infuser entitled the “Duo” that uses nanotechnology for heating, giving an entirely new meaning to the traditional way of making tea. The new infuser is simple to use, all you need to do is fill it up, turn it on and choose the heating level, and then put it into your cup where it heats up as soon as it gets in touch with hot water. Leave it there for a few minutes, before enjoying the refreshing cup of tea. Featuring a touchscreen interface with on/off and heating button, the Duo attaches the tea tag at the bottom cap to keep all the pieces together, while the transparent cover ensures that you see the whole process.

Acer Laptop with Touchscreen Keyboard

Acer hopes to mesmerize the electronic world by introducing ultra-thin frameless notebooks that would feature touchscreen keyboards using back of the panel’s glass substrate. Scheduled to make their debut in the second half of the year, the notebooks in development would display frames by printing colors onto the back of the notebook’s reinforced glass substrate by Corning.
