Finally, there’s a rotatable twin touch display mobile phone design. Using this gadget, you can hold the phone the way you like it, it won’t block your views with your fingers while browsing or gaming. This phone has been designed with two touch screens where one is used for viewing and basic operations of a smartphone such as checking mails, browsing, access mobile apps while the other screen is used for typing or gaming. We think the use of the second screen to display difference key controls based on what the user’s need is more practical compared to modular hardware components that Microsoft just patented.

You can slide the top panel in different directions: slide up, slide down, or slide both sideways. It is also rotatable for complete freedom of holding your phone. The base touch panel can be configured as portrait or QWERTY keyboard & as a joystick while playing games.
The iPhone 5 is a concept pictured below, one that’s supposedly much thinner than the iPhone 4 and also it gets rids of the antenna issues. It’s got a thin metal frame, that leaves no room for physical buttons, even on the side. Thus, the entire left side of the device is a touch line with volume control purposes.

You’ll move your finger from bottom to top in order to increase the volume and from top to bottom in order to reduce it. You can change the sensitivity from the Settings section. The iPhone 5 also comes with 4G connectivity and can reach up to 100 Mbps downloads and even 1000 Mbps around mobile phone base stations.

The CPU power is increased by Apple for this type of connectivity to be available. Meanwhile, the screen of this iPhone 5 concept is a Retina Plus Display, with control over the backlight and support reading text on electronic paper-like material. There’s also a 10.2 megapixel camera at the back and up to 64GB of internal memory.

Cellphones have become an indispensable part of our lives. But, there are times when they can act as a source of distraction, which may lead to some or the other potential danger. Isil Uzum has designed the Second Nature that will let you use your beloved gadget just anywhere, hands-free and minus the distractions, through gesture sensing

The device will make apt use of human gestures, which will in turn perform important functions. Second Nature looks like a watch without a dial and has a smooth surface. This can be strapped around the wrist without any hassle. The tool has a hardware that has been wedged with motion sensors, which will read all the gestures.

It has been injected with a very sensitive and user-friendly software. The device will help connect these gestures with the phone and perform accordingly. One can attend calls without even touching the phone. All you have to do is, use the defined sign and see the magic unfurl.

All these features will sprinkle freedom and mobility in your everyday life. The obligation to use hands while using a handset will take a backseat. The device will prove to be of help while driving, playing outdoor games, sports like skiing and biking, to name a few. Second Nature will also prove to be a boon for the specially-abled who have limited mobility.

DEPICT is an innovative phone from which a user can make calls by drawing an image or writing a word on the touch screen. This phone employs an innate interface and easy steps so that natives who are unfamiliar with digital devices can use it hassle-free without having to memorize any phone numbers. The system recognizes the image or the word the user draws and links it to the intended person’s phone number. The user need not keep track of all the phone numbers in mind anymore. This novel paradigm for making calls would be useful especially for natives in the older generation, who may not be familiar with digital devices. DEPICT can as well be used in offices conveniently to make conference phone calls.
Nokia phones are a rage and cherished by people all across the globe. To make them all the more loved, Conny Larsson has designed the Nokia HG-1 for ‘My Dream Nokia.’ Like the N10, which will give consumers the flexibility to choose from three operating systems, even this handset will make you taste enigmatic qualities.

In today’s world, people like owning things that look attractive. They want technology to come draped in a beautiful outer skin, which will sprinkle nothing but sumptuousness. One look at this handset and you are bound to drop your jaws in surprise. The shape of Nokia HG-1 fetches heavy inspiration from an hourglass. It has a slimmer middle portion and a comparatively thicker top and bottom. The middle will have a thickness of 3-4mm, while the side will measure somewhere between 8-10mm. The main part has been crafted from glass and lends impressive looks. It either becomes semi-transparent or opaque, depending on the requirements.

The navigation buttons of this handset will be swapped by pressure sensitive sidebars for a better experience. Apart from this, it will come embedded with three microUSB ports for added convenience. One can choose from a Maemo 5s hildon desktop or the Android. The phone has a life-like screen, which will make it an apt desk/shelf gadget. Nokia HG-1 with such breathtaking looks will definitely win many hearts.

We are developing technologically; and, in case of gadgets, it’s at a very fast pace. One device is replacing the other. The market today is filled with efficient tablets. The day is not far when tablets will replace laptops and PC. This fact becomes all the more true when designers like Antoine Brieux continue to contribute in the field of technology. Just recently, he had come up with the HTC Tube tablet concept, and now he has created yet another interesting accessory for tablet-smartphone called a secondary Stick Phone.

This device helps in making calls on a Tube tablet. The design of the Stick Phone is very simple, having only the features of a basic phone, i.e. a speaker, a microphone, an answer and end call keys. So, this new device is only meant to support phone calls.

With this new Stick Phone in market, tablets are sure to give a tough competition to laptops.

Cordless phones were a major hit and replaced fixed line phones in no time. They gave the user a flexibility to talk from anywhere in the house. But with the introduction of cell phones, the flexibility got all the more extended. This flexibility, aside from allowing people to stay in contact always, never discouraged them to use mobile phones at home. However, this time, Michael Paterson has come up with the Phone Concept to revive the whole charm of cordless phones.

The industrial designer has crafted a piece that is a true call of luxury. The household item will enthrall many with its beauty. It looks like a delicate piece of jewelry and has a very simple form. The elegant phone comes sans a display. It just has 0-9 keys placed all along the spine of the set. If you are wondering that this is not enough, then read ahead. The concept makes good use of voice commands and will activate all the major function by the power of voice.

It comes equipped with ultra-modern qualities while still preserving the magnetism of traditional handsets. The luxury item got the desired shape with the help of a silicone mold. The handmade set has been given a smooth finish from cibatool. It has a transparent outer skin, which will put on show the beauty that is embedded inside it. A feature that will make you slip in a state of awe is its capability to scan and send printed/handwritten text.
