Strapping on your wrist like a trendy band, the wristwatch integrates an illuminated LED dot display to tell the time. The sides of the watch band glow to indicate PM. The Lumidot is not only a device to calculate time, but it is a personification of free lifestyle of the bass-cranking youngsters for whom life has no limits and time is merely a suggestion.
The dial phone concept is another outcome of the recent tradition of minimizing size and shape of cell phones through repeated development. This phone concept utilizes the traditional dial-phone technology combined with a beautiful design like a fashion accessory. When making a call, users have to unfasten the phone from their wrist and place it on any surface where it can project number characters from the ten interior holes. The upper dial contains sensors that respond to the user’s finger when selecting any particular number to call. Aside from great functionality, the designer focused on designing a fashionable, sporty and elegant ornament with ultimate uniqueness.
Inspired by the gestural language depicting the use of the phone, the color rings by BCK design team, including Javier Bertani, Ezequiel Castro and Vera Kade, are an accessory for your mobile phones that apart from making your chatter more natural and comfortable also turns your flamboyant fashion accessory in to a functional device. The color rings are intended to be worn in the thumb and little finger that works as a microphone and headset, while connecting wirelessly to your mobile phone. All you need to do is to point your thumb and little finger towards your ear and mouth respectively to make or receive a call, thanks to the built-in distance sensors.
As cellular phones become a standard, the statement they make as a symbol and a fashion accessory has become increasingly important. The Radia phone concept expresses simplicity in form and sophistication in function and user interface. The outer rim, which is made of brushed aluminum makes both a refined and professional statement. The touch-display is large enough to read and display many types of information, yet small enough to maintain a pocket-sized device. Simplicity is also expressed in the power button, which is flanked by the earpiece speaker, and balanced by the microphone which is 180 degrees around the perimeter.
