Nokia CORE Phone – Computer Mouse

Nokia CORE cellphone, phone mouse, computer mouse, future gadget
The Nokia CORE cellphone is a concept inspired by the futurism graphics of Star Wars. Designed around its interface, which resembles a solar system where all functions revolve around the core, the shape of the phone is derived from the interface core and is expanded around it. Developed under the ease of usage concept, thus it is made with a soft touch filled concavity on each side so it can be easily grabbed and used. For the unique functionality the phone when put facing down on a surface, automatically transfers the interface and content to the screen of the nearest computer via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Having done this, the phone then acts as a mouse-like device to control its own interface on the computer screen.

Tired of changing ringtones on your phone? No matter what your ringing tone is, sooner or later monotony creeps in, so your ‘weariness’ isn’t unusual. The good thing is that we have designers like Sang-Hoon Lee and till the time such brains keep ticking, we needn’t be bothered about that monotony. Lee has designed the Copylight Concept where light is made to flow like water whenever there is an incoming call. For instance when your phone is pocketed and you get a call, there will be light flowing out of your pocket like water (no wet pants) and that is when you realize your phone is ringing. Visual reception of calls is the future and it is definitely exciting and although this may seem an uber futuristic theme, it is only such things that keep the world brimming.

Benq Siemens Full Touchscreen Phone

benq siemens, full touchscreen display, futuristic phone, future gadget

Why can’t you mobile phone give you everything on your fingertips? Going by this BenQ Siemens concept it looks like that all the functions and apps will be on your fingertips! I really like the crisp front menu that displays all the functions so elegantly. Featuring the usual buffet of functions like games, camera, radio and obviously phone, the device is a complete hands-on touch phone. I have to really wonder though; will such designs be really practical? Will they stand the pressures of constant finger abuse and not succumb to scratches. As far as looks go, this phones gets a ten-on-ten from me.
