Yuxa – Wearable Mobile Phone Made From Eco-Friendly Materials

Conceived by Mexican designer Veronica Eugenia Rodriguez Ortiz, the “Yuxa” is a cellphone concept that you can wear around your wrist like a watch or a bracelet. Removing the sound with vibration, the wearable cellphone works with Bluetooth technology, which the user need to remove from the wrist to make a call. Made from ecological materials such as plant fibers and biodegradable plastic, the green gadget features an OLED display and rechargeable battery that flattens its shape with the wrist movement of the user. You can set vibrations at different frequencies for different users. In short, the Yuxa allows an altogether new way of communication.

Designed to create person’s tactile senses instead of the visual, the futuristic cellphone removes the screen or the button pad and keeps the hands of the users free.

Matrix Phone 02 by Ungnoh Yoon

Drawing inspiration from old science fiction movies, South Korean designer Ungnoh Yoon has come up with a unique mobile phone dubbed “Matrix phone 02” that blends conventional design with contemporary technology. When the cellphone is closed, it looks like an old fashioned beeper or mobile device, but as soon as you slide the upper side, the Graphen display, one of the next gen technologies, pops up to change the mobile phone into a futuristic device. Featuring a compact size, the old futuristic phone just measures 140 (opened) and 90 (closed) x 50 x 15 mm (HWD). When closed, the Matrix phone shows a green OLED light to indicate simple and basic information like time, caller ID, quick dial info and so on, while on the other hand, when opened, the Graphen screen displays all the other information.

Keeping the mobile phone brand Nokia in mind, Colombian designer Juan Carlos Garzon has developed a cellphone concept that featuring a translucent display will give transparency to your chatter. The see-through mobile handset also touts a touchscreen interface for ease of use and a five megapixel camera to capture high resolution pictures. While the battery and the hardware, with on/off button, are neatly enclosed in the lower part of the cellphone. The transparent display also emits light, possibly LED, so you could use the cellphone at night with minimum fuss.

It is an iPhone concept called iDrops. It is using new nano technology to control your iPhone with the blink of an eye – that’s what the ad says. It shows a person putting some drops on to the eye and then the iPhone is in your eye. I know! It makes no sense! Hilarious! Even J K Rowling had a better imagination with her wizards.
