The Canadian luxury mobile phone maker Mobiado recently announced its collaboration with the Aston Martin. Now, Mobiado has released some details of the CPT002 concept phone, which is a product of Mobiado-Aston Martin collaboration. The Canadian firm announced that the one-of-a-kind device will be launched at the BaselWorld. The device is set to find many takers because it will act not only as a phone, you can also control your Aston Martin using the CPT002 concept phone. The device will help you control the vehicle remotely.

The touchscreen of the device is very attractive and its see-through. The battery is on the side which is platinum crafted. SIM card is also on the side and this has been designed so in order to keep the display totally transparent. Aston Martin vehicle owners need not to carry keys for their vehicles anymore as the CPT002 itself functions as a key. The doors of the car will open automatically as the driver approaches towards the vehicle. Not only this, you can also access the display of Aston Martin, while keeping the phone in your pocket.

The phone will attract those who are highly interested in social networking. The GPS capability of the phone also offers varied services like the FourSquare app wheedles helps in locating your Aston Martin. You can also use the phone to find your friend. To conclude, I must say that the collaboration will yield a product which will be super cool and will definitely change the way we use our smartphone.

Industrial designer Cyrene Quiamco took inspiration from a Swiss Army knife to design a concept phone
that eases music, contact information and other data transfer that till date is mostly transferred via Bluetooth. The concept phone, known as Kard, utilizes electronic cards to exchange information between two similar devices.

The cellphone packs a card reader and a touchscreen interface. Cards can be made from a wide range of materials, which can be flexible as well. Transferring data from one cellphone to another requires a swipe of the relevant card. Other cards can include a solar panel card that the user can flip to change the cellphone when it is out of juice. The device can support a maximum of 10 cards, which will each perform a unique task.
With the latest technological advancements, features and functions of mobile phones change more frequently than any other portable gadget available on the market, as we see something different and new in a cellphone every few days. Conceived by designer Jim Chan, the “Nokia 2030” is a phone concept that presents an illuminated touch sensitive keypad to allow fast and easy messaging. Featuring a body finished in reinforced scratch-resistant glass, the futuristic phone comes with full-color display capabilities to enhance the experience of the user. Measuring 2 x 4.75 x 0.25 inches (WLH) in dimensions, the Nokia 2030 also attaches colored films, at the rear, to change its color, while polished titanium case protects the screen from scratches.
The Traccia mobile phone concept is designed by Andrea Ponti. Traccia is a phone that’s held as a pen, it recognizes hand movements and converts the same into commands. This concept would probably make an ideal phone for someone who hates typing on a touchscreen or physical keypad, possibly because writing comes easier to them. An embedded optical sensor (like optical mouse laser) located at the end of the stick (phone) detects the traces of what is being written and a software then converts them into text, commands and functions.

It draw invisible lines to access the contacts and menu functions with three buttons on the side for navigation make the stick phone all the more luring. Like all phones now, the Traccia too gets a camera that’s positioned in the center of the arc under the display. Traccia built in polycarbonate is an alternative way to create natural interaction between people and machines.
NOKIA E10 is a concept phone which has a bendable screen and can provide two useage mode through folding structure. The screen material is flexible and thin enough to roll around onto a 6mm axis, so it can save more spaces.

NOKIA E10 provides a flexible user experience. It’s a normal phone when it’s folded up, through using the hard touch screen, you can make phone call, send message&E-mail, play games, do whatever you can do like other normal phones. When unfolded, it will transform into an amazing device, you can watch high-definition pictures and videos, get more information in one page. Definitely, it supports touch control.

Except the high flexibility, NOKIA E10 also concerns the environmental effect. There are three solar batteries on the back, they can give a stronger power supply than other phones which have only one solar battery. NKOIA E10also has a lithium battery, they will provide steady power.
Cellphones connecting people with each other have already turned the world into a global village. But we need more and more features to keep up pace with the rise in technology, which further needs a burst of processing power and storage capacity. Designers at Bounthavong Designs have come up with a concept that could revolutionize the mobile phone market forever.

Christened the Cloud BlackBerry, the concept phone links the user to the cloud computing network, which further provides unlimited storage space and processing power. The concept device is powered by a liquid fuel cell, which can be viewed through a transparent trim, revealing the amount of fuel within the device.
Designed for Samsung, the “AQUA” by South Korean designer Bon Seop Ku is a mobile phone concept, inspired by drawing on the table with water, which features a progressive design to attract next-gen customers. Presenting a transparent body together with graphical user interface (GUI), the futuristic mobile handset comes with AMOLED display to enhance the experience of the user. The source of the interface is a water-based touchscreen. Users can delete the icons of the interface by simply rubbing the display with their hands. The cellphone runs on liquid type battery that apart from being eco-friendly supports the transparency of the screen as well.
Amid all the new releases and the most compelling phone dramas, a concept phone like the Blue Bee phone is such a relief to look at. While it’s pretty obvious that we won’t be getting our hands on this for a few years, it still is a respite from guessing if iPhone 4 will resolve its choking reception strength. So, for all those gadget-happy consumers, who are ever eager to know how the phone of the future will look like, here’s the glimpse.
Created by Kingyo, Blue Bee concept phone integrates a new visual design language and unique interface interaction, to create a new trend in social entertainment brand by removing all the hard buttons off the phone and placing its functions on the touchpad in the back of the body. This interesting handset interface that extends to almost the entire body of this slim smartphone will enable mobile phones to have more display space, while reducing the visually impaired of human-computer interaction when operating basic functions.
