
Conceived by designer Hao Huang, here is a mouse concept that removing the extravagant casing of a regular mouse presents a minimal, though revolutionary, design for the ease of use as well as transportation. Comprising two buttons for right or left click, which when not in use can be attached to each other with magnetic force, the button mouse works wirelessly, as it comes integrated with a signal emitter and storage battery that transmits power to the buttons. Ideal for both the left and right hand user, the trendy mouse buttons lies parallel on the desktop on off mode and needs to be pressed simultaneously for scrolling. Not too sure about the comfort or practicality of the device concept, but the button mouse definitely breaks away from traditional mice to present a refreshing design.

Running on the fortunes of minimal design, Brazilian industrial designer Átila Rossito has popped up a mouse concept that looks like anything but a mouse. Hailed as “Fortune,” the minimalist mouse is not only light in weight but also reduces all the innards for clutter-free navigation on the computer. Finished possibly in titanium, the Fortune illuminates a red blaze within the white casing to give it the gaze of a lampshade or a piece of an art rather than a computer mouse.

The Nokia CORE cellphone is a concept inspired by the futurism graphics of Star Wars. Designed around its interface, which resembles a solar system where all functions revolve around the core, the shape of the phone is derived from the interface core and is expanded around it. Developed under the ease of usage concept, thus it is made with a soft touch filled concavity on each side so it can be easily grabbed and used. For the unique functionality the phone when put facing down on a surface, automatically transfers the interface and content to the screen of the nearest computer via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. Having done this, the phone then acts as a mouse-like device to control its own interface on the computer screen.
