Innovations in science and technology have turned the virtual into the real, paving the way for an entirely new world. Revitalizing the usual structure of computer, Chinese designer Lv Zhongfang has come up with a unique PC design that employs virtual input system in place of traditional keyboard and mouse. No matter how frightening the sight of a Cobra is, it is often a great source of inspiration for designers. Hailed as ‘Kissed Cobras,’ the designer watch looks more like a bracelet. Finished with polyurethane, the wristwatch presents two little screens on either ends: one indicating hours and the other minutes.

Project Epoc Lets You Control Video Games with Your Noggin’

Louis Ramirez, Nintendo, Emotiv, Brain Devices, Future Gadget

Step aside Nintendo, Emotiv’s got dibs on the ultimate game controller right here with their Project Epoc. It’s basically a headset fitted with a bunch of sensors that “read” your mind and let you control video games (be it from your console or PC) via your thoughts. Did I mention it can do this wirelessly? Though it looks like a torture device, the concept is pretty sweet. It’ll be demoed at the Game Developer’s Conference next week. – Louis Ramirez

iBangle – Futuristic iPod Concept by Gopinath Prasana

ibangle, gopinath prasana, futuristic gadgets, apple, ipod, multi-touch

It really is! Hear me out. The iBangle is Gopinath Prasana’s vision of a future iPod where the devices have become darn close to becoming jewelry. If you factor in inflation and the cost of Apple products today – might as well call it jewelry because it’ll cost as much. I digress, the iBangle is a thin piece of aluminum (of course) with a multi-touch track pad. To achieve the perfect fit, a cushion inside the ring inflates to keep itself taught against your wrist. Unisex? Maybe.
