While we use technologically advanced systems, we remain on the back foot on the hygiene front, making us vulnerable to various infections. Providing a solution, Cleankeys has come up with an ergonomic keyboard that featuring one-of-its-kind touch sensitive keys not only improves your work efficiency but also your health, while avoiding unnecessary keystrokes. Unlike the traditional keyboards, the new keyboard lets the user remove bacteria up to 99 percent for clean and hygienic typing. Priced at $400, the touch-sensitive keyboard also comes in a glass version for an added $50.

Um, do you suppose these fools know that you can buy a “virtual laser keyboard” for less than $200 these days? I ~think~ I-Tech’s “Virtual Laser Keyboard” was one of the first, but there’s LOTS of other knock offs and variations at this point.

$400 for a flat keyboard trying to tout terrific hygiene and healthiness is a nice gimmick and all, but I think most consumers are more intelligent than that. If you really wanted to spend a huge amount of money on a keyboard, why not go for the gold and buy an Optimus Maximus? Where every single key is a changeable micro display screen.

There’s other “clean” like keyboards as well, like the DX1 Input System, cleaning that lil bugger would be a breeze since the buttons aren’t attached at all.

And then of course there are dozens upon dozens of “waterproof” roll-up style keyboards, that you can literally just throw into the dishwasher. The Bendi “Light Up Keyboard” being one of my favorites. And the majority of those can be bought for *UNDER* $50! *nods*
