Ah! Watches! How I love them!! It seems like designer Andy Kurovets has designed this watch just for me. Titled ‘Liquid Time’ and also’ From Nowhere to Nowhere’, this watch uses Led backlight and beautiful crafty typography to display the 5th dimension- time. Set beautifully in a metal body with a LED screen, it is available in white metal, black and red. Basically digital in nature, yet the style of the numerals is quite distinctive and hence I like the name ‘Liquid Time’ for it. It looks no less than some jewellery piece. I loved it so much; I wish I could team this up with my gorgeous black dress I purchased recently.

Reflecting the duality and unity of the sleep/wake cycle, Swedish designer Henrik Amberla has popped up an innovative alarm clock that looks more like a piece of art than a timepiece. The Milky Way, as the designer hails his alarm clock, is an illustration of a turning motion that triggers the snooze function. The Milky Way features another turning motion, which let the users set time and alarm on its (possibly) reflective surface, without hampering the smooth and sleek design of the clock.

Emphasizing the way we use ordinary products in our day-to-day life, Greek designer Venia Giota has come up with a classical time-telling device dubbed “Morpho” that has been redesigned in order to have a new aesthetic value, to become minimal and be more playful. The multifunctional device transforms from a wristwatch to a table clock, conferring the user with an opportunity to possess the services of two products at the same time.
Finished in stainless steel (dial and clasping) and rubber (strap), the Morpho (meaning changed or modified) is a very simple, minimalist watch with a clever touch of the digital analogue antithesis that provides time in a very clear language of symbols.

“Endlesstime”, as the name suggests, is a never ending watch designed to represent the endless quality of time. The design is quite simple and clean for any user. The watch is made up of semi-transparent plastic which can be straightened if not tied up on your wrist. The watch is very flexible due to the magnets concealed in the band and it can easily fit on any wrist comfortably. Designer has given a twist in the middle ofthe watch for reminding the symbol of hourglass. The twist also shows the division of the hour and minute displayed on the clock. Also, there is no need for batteries as the clock receives satellite signals and automatically tunes the watch as per current time zone.
