BOPhone m concept was inspired by the legendary Bang & Olufsen (B&O) and Samsung. The design integrates the B&O high quality speakers, beo link, the power of Samsung Galaxy S2, and full aluminum body. It features many great things just like any other smartphone. We love the sleek and thin design of this phone, we just hope the body won’t give plastic-ish feel.
Finally, there’s a rotatable twin touch display mobile phone design. Using this gadget, you can hold the phone the way you like it, it won’t block your views with your fingers while browsing or gaming. This phone has been designed with two touch screens where one is used for viewing and basic operations of a smartphone such as checking mails, browsing, access mobile apps while the other screen is used for typing or gaming. We think the use of the second screen to display difference key controls based on what the user’s need is more practical compared to modular hardware components that Microsoft just patented.

You can slide the top panel in different directions: slide up, slide down, or slide both sideways. It is also rotatable for complete freedom of holding your phone. The base touch panel can be configured as portrait or QWERTY keyboard & as a joystick while playing games.
Jawbone ICON HD has military-grade NoiseAssassin 2.5. It consists of world’s most advanced noise reduction technology which is capable of eliminating unwanted noise signals. This technology helps in a clear communication over the phone though we are in a noisy atmosphere. It helps to listen to music, podcasts and phone calls in a full-spectrum and HD-quality sound.

It can be instantly connected with any Mac or PC, just plug in THE NERD (Wire-Free USB Audio Adapter). It is possible to stream music and receive calls at the same time. It works better when synced with Jawbone’s MyTALK platform. The battery meter is automatically displayed in the status bar. It gives an alarm when the battery goes low. This bluetooth comes with seven ear buds as well as an optional binaural ear loop. Jawbone Icon HD is an eco-friendly product and the packaging is also recyclable.
Glance mobile phone design is based on the idea where we utilize our mobile phone to read the time, calendar, emails, text messages, and social network updates. Usually, you have to get your cell phone out of the pocket just to read the time or check incoming mails. Glance objective is to design a cell phone which allows you to do all those activities without the need to take out the phone from your pocket.

Glance has a 4-inch OLED screen made from scratch-resistant glass in the front. Its complementary 2-inch OLED screen displays the current status of the mobile phone (time, battery level, new emails, tweets, notifications, sms). It features two cameras: one on the front and another one on the back with integrated flash light. It has built-in mini USB connection, 3.5 mm headphone jack, camera shutter and volume/zoom button. Just like its name, you can see everything you need at first glance with Glance mobile phone.
As a child, you must have played a game in which bits and pieces are to be placed together. This results in interesting shapes of different sizes and is a fun-filled activity. Bringing the same fun in the life of grown-ups is Kamil Izrailov in the form of Mobikom. The ingenious gadget is a conceptual cell phone and tablet computer clubbed in one.

This multifunctional device consists of various elements. These square-shaped elements can be fasten to each other with the help of micro-locks. Joining the blocks together will give birth to a phone or tablet, as per a user’s whims and fancies. The back of each element has special markings, which will make it easy for the user to assemble the device. The attention-grabbing concept has two elements: dynamic and microphone. So, either design a mini cell phone sized 22mm X 44mm X 6mm or a tablet with a maximum size of 1.5m X 2m. The tablet is capable of responding to wireless communications like Wi-Fi.

Mobikom’s key elements have programmed buttons while others have been devoid of them. Each element has its own power supply and computing processor. A user can feed individual parts with a SIM card and store all necessary details in the phone memory. There are apertures on the lateral surfaces in the middle of the fixing tapes, which can be used to craft new forms. Wow! A special adapter is required, which will fuel the touch screen with necessary kinetic and thermal energy for successful operation. The productivity and working of Mobikom increases when more elements are connected to the device. So, enjoy the benefits of a mini cell phone and a full sized tablet with Mobikom.

Computing giants IBM have predicted that 3D hologram technology could be made available in cellphones in the coming five years. As that sounds, we’re still not convinced that it would support the kind of functionality that this particular futuristic cellphone imagines. The cellphone concept by designer Mac Funamizu is basically composed of two devices that interact with each other and provide a whole new dimension to both cellphone usage as well as cellphone technology.

The two-part concept features a high tech pendant-like device called URSLA which serves as a futuristic projector capable of producing 3D holographic images in front of the user. The device would be capable of flashing notifications received on the cellphone like emails, texts, incoming calls, etc, in front of the user for a few seconds.

While that sounds feasible enough, what we have a hard time imagining is that the BERTHA, the cellphone that is synced with the pendant, could also be operated with the 3D image. So not only will the URSLA be a projection in mid-air, it would also allow users a touch-pad like capacity within the holographic image itself.

As delicious as it sounds, it really is bumming to know that such a cellphone can not exist until technology can be evolved to an extend that would allow us to manipulate 3D holograms and we imagine that would require something like plasma to be generated from the projectors beaming these images in the air to provide a touch-enabled surface. Sounds like a very long shot, but if it does ever happen, we’re sure someone somewhere would surely find a way to use it for evil also.
Most cell phone concepts that we see out there these days are born out of the need to provide a new stylistic innovation in technology and function. But few of these concepts ever address the need to make existing technologies more accessible for people with disabilities. The Orbital Phone is one such concept that derives its form and function from the problems of a real life user who had lost the function of his dominant hand and was hence forced to use his other hand to operate his smartphone.

Conceptualized as a collaborative effort by Patricia Tait, Mario Garza, Richard Williams III and Mary-Anna Bowen, the Orbital Phone comes with special design features that create the necessary balance and equilibrium that is required to operate a smartphone using the non-dominant hand.

The ergonomic design features an hourglass frame that makes it easier to hold on to and work with using a single hand. The design allows users to be able to use it from either end so that they don’t have to change its orientation before making or receiving calls. This makes it easier for users to use it with just one hand even when they need to access advanced two-hand features that most contemporary smartphone have.

The design comes with dual microphone and speakers, one on each end that make calling easier while a flexible finger loop at the back of the phone eliminates the possibility of the phone being dropped when being used with a single hand. It also allows the phone to be rotated while in hand via a sliding track that supports the loop.

The designer does not specify whether the phone will retain any touch-specific functionality or whether it would feature other special function buttons to enable users to access commonly used applications, but the concept itself makes a great start in the right direction to make common technologies more compatible with the needs of people with disabilities.

A good few hundred years ago, messages from royal courts were delivered to other kingdoms via scrolls. However, with time, communication technology has evolved by a few leaps but principles behind some of the designs follow the same old patterns. Keeping this thought in mind, an India-based designer, Sudhanwa Chavan, has created a space-saving roll-up cellphone concept. Named as i Roll, this innovative cellphone concept is sure to make waves in the modern world.

Slightly bigger than a pen, the concept takes this cellphone design to a whole new level via a scroll-like design that would allow the gadget to be neatly rolled up. You can even carry this gadget just like a pen in your pocket or handbag as it doesn’t take much space. Users will also be able to make and receive phone calls via a flexible headset. In addition, the cellphone features a retractable OLED touch screen that will provide all the requisite functionality, and when not in use, it will remain folded inside a central column. This outer casing will also be made up of an OLED surface that will display vital information like incoming phone calls, mails and messages. The column will also change colors to indicate the battery status and will be fully used as per an individual’s needs.

The i Roll will additionally feature a fully functioning 360-degree rotating camera operating on ratchet mechanism and will be tweaked to be compatible with 3G services. The bottom end of the Bluetooth-enabled phone concept will house an expandable memory stick, thus, making the phone usable as a standalone thumb drive with USB connectivity as well.
