The Funamizu is back with another concept. Inspired by the WVIL concept camera shown at this year’s CES, Mac Funamizu envisaged a similar device in a slimmer package. The idea revolves around a lens system that is totally self contained with everything needed to take SLR quality photos. It wirelessly transmits the images to a hub device – in this case, a transparent screen.
There is one idea that was omnipresent everywhere at this year’s CES: 3D will be the word of 2011.
So it comes only natural that a 3D camera to not surprise us very much. STEREOO will be exactly what we should expect when it will come to 3D photo taking devices. The 1st image that came to my mind was that of a smile emoticon from Yahoo’s Messenger. It’s nice to have something that has always a smile on its face, even if it’s a camera.
For the HUMAN EYE CAMERA I started to compare the human eye to a camera. I found a lot of analogies in terms of optic and arrangement. But the brain struck me as the most important difference. It turns the image of our eye arround, it straightens out the image and it expands our field of view with our memories.
Pocket Hasselblad is a concept how it is possible to rethink the Hasselblad philosophy today, and put in new interpretations. My interpenetration was to follow the Hasselblad philosophy according to my understanding.
That means: find the solution the most simplest way, and as small as possible.
In my case I went on the way to make it the most simplest.
